Me & My Son

This picture was taken minutes after Smith passed away by a photographer who volunteers her time with an amazing non-profit organization called Now I Lay Me Down To Sleep. These photographers come to the hospital and take beautiful, peaceful pictures of babies after they pass away. We treasure the photos she took of our precious baby boy, free of wires and tubes and machines. They are a priceless, sacred gift, given by true angels!

I love this one because it helps put into perspective how truly tiny he really was and its one of the only pictures I have of the two of us together. I love you Smith Randle!!!

  4. hi Kori, I was thinking more about that book I reference to you, and I just felt I needed to tell you that I forgot that her situation was quite different from yours. I have not read the book, but many co-workers have and highly recommend it. I just wanted to let you know that the author was coming from a very different place and it might not apply for you. just so you don't waste your time. sorry if this seems weird.
