Happy Birthday to Me...

Thanks to everyone who text, called and emailed sweet birthday wishes on Sunday! I had a fabulous birthday...three days in a row!!! Saturday (the day before my b-day) Jon and I celebrated just the two of us. We went to lunch, shopped a little, purchased our joint birthday gift (we got a new camera!), watched some Grey's Anatomy, ate dinner and lounged around.

Sunday...THE BIG DAY...I woke up to 15 colorful balloons tied all over our bedroom!!! They were tied to the end of the bed, our dresser, night stands...everywhere! Jon waited for me to fall asleep and then strategically and very quietly scattered the balloons around our room. It was such a fun and sweet surprise!!!


When we finally got up, we got breakfast, watched some more Grey's Anatomy, did some more lounging and I actually got a wild hair and cleaned out the refrigerator and pantry (don't ask!). Jon also surprised me with one of my favorites...Celebrity Vanilla Thumbprint Cookies!


Then we went to Starbucks and sat on the patio for a while before heading over to my parents. Lyric, RT, Cole, my parents and Rachel all helped celebrate my 26th year! We played around outside and attempted to cool off in the 95 degree pool!!! My dad grilled out salmon, fresh zucchini, squash, onions and potatoes (my favorite) and peaches! His grilled peaches are amazing!!! After dinner it was time for presents and cookie cake. Besides my cranky pants nephew...haha, it was a great day!


Monday night the festivities continued at the Bailey's! Nancy cooked the most amazing roast, which she knows I absolutely LOVE...mashed potatoes, butter beans, spinach salad, crescent rolls and cinnamon sweet tea to wash it all down! If that wasn't enough, she made a chocolate cake with white icing with chocolate dipped strawberries on the top. I was stuffed, but it was worth every bite!!! We were also celebrating Father's Day a little late, so Randy and I both opened presents, which made the night extra fun.


Thanks to everyone who helped make my 26th Birthday so special! I'm so blessed to have such an incredible family and wonderful friends. Love YOU!!!
