Mrs. Bailey X2

Yesterday, I had the pleasure of eating lunch with Kim at her school and meeting her precious 2nd grade class! Her room is SO CUTE!!! I wish I had more time to check out every little detail. I brought up Chick-fil-e for lunch and we ate at her desk. Jaime ate with us too, which was a wonderful surprise! After the short 30minute lunch, I went with Kim to pick up her kiddos in the cafeteria. Once we got back to her room, she introduced me and we had Q&A time for a while. Before I arrived, Kim explained to them that I was Mrs. Bailey too! They thought that was super cool. I sat in this adorable directors chair that said Mrs. Bailey on it and answered lots of important questions:

1. What's your first name?
2. What's your favorite color?
3. What are your hobbies?
4. How old are you?
5. When is your birthday?
6. What's your favorite animal?
7. Where do you live?
8. Where were you born?
9. What's your job?
10. What was your name before it was Bailey?
11. How long have you known Mrs. Bailey?
12. Where did you meet Mrs. Bailey?
13. Where did you go to college?
14. What was your favorite subject in Elementary school?
15. When were you married?
16. What's your favorite store?
17. What's your favorite book?
18. What's you favorite holiday?

And my two FAVORITE questions...

19. Is your necklace real gold?
Um no...I wish!

20. Who was the President of the United States when you were born?
Long pause....um....look over at Kim....um....I'm pretty sure it was Ronald Reagan. Yes. Ronald Reagan! I was laughing at myself so hard! I wasn't expecting a history question from a 2nd grader. I will admit, that little girl had me panicked there for a minute!

When the grilling session was over (haha), Kim let them know it was time for me to go. Right away they started pleading for me to read them a story. How could I say no to those adorable little faces? Kim picked out a sweet story about a penguin named Tacky. I don't know who enjoyed it more, me or the kids?!?

Thank you Bailey Bears for letting me hang out with you and read you a story! I had a GREAT time!!! And a BIG thank you to Mrs. Bailey for inviting me to spend a little time with your class! You are all extremely lucky to have such a cute, fun, energetic, smart and sweet teacher! Be good for Mrs. Bailey...you only have to keep it up for a few more weeks :)

Kim...When can I come back?!?
